This years youtheatre production is Fame - The Musical. It is being staged at Newhampton Arts Centre on August 1st and 2nd and we are rehearsing on a Sunday for 8 weeks prior to this, again at Newhampton. Workshop auditions are being held on Sunday 25th May 2008, 12-4pm at Newhampton Arts with rehearsals starting on the 8th, 12-4pm. For more information or to get involved please call 07782 334356. 2nd & 3rd June 2007, Netherton Arts Centre
Our youtheatre just staged a very successful production of the musical Godspell. The show received excellent feedback from audiences and whats more impressive is that the whole show was staged and put together in a two week intensive rehearsal period. Also it truely was a youth production as everyone involved in the show, even the production and technical team were all under 25! A small but talented cast who were professional in their approach to this project meant the show was pulled off and now the youtheatre has an established core membership and look forward to future projects!! - Spectacular, Spectacular! Performance Troupe
Saturday 5th May 2007, Crescent Theatre Birmingham
Our adult performance troupe previewed their new cabaret show based on the soundtrack to the Moulin Rouge which also got some great feedback from audiences. The show was devised by the cast themselves and put together in 6 weeks, meeting on sunday afternoons for rehearsals. The show featured live singing and an aray of different dance styles that meant the show contained something for everyone and really showed the versatility of the company.
